Wildland Fire Dataset for Alaska
Note: For additional BLM Wildland Fire Datasets go to http://afsmaps.blm.gov/imf_fire/imf.jsp?site=fire, change the "Select a theme to view" option to "Fire History" (under "Select a theme to view" in the navigation bar near the top of the page). Once in the Fire History in Alaska view, you can select the "Popular Downloads" option (next to the theme selection in the navigation bar). You will get a shapefile of fire history (called “Perimeters since 1940).
