SATELLITE IMAGE
Area: Delong_Mts Quadrangle
Source: LANDSAT Multi-Spectral Scanner (MSS)
Resolution: 50 meters
This is a spectrally enhanced 50-meter pixel-resolution Landsat-MSS mosaic of area bounded by the USGS Delong_Mts 1:250000 Quadrangle.
This 3-band image file contains three Landsat-MSS spectral channels: image band-1 contains Landsat MSS Channel-1, image band-2 contains Landsat MSS Channel-2, and image band-3 contains Landsat MSS Channel-4. Adjacent Quadrangles can be concatenated (allow data values to overwrite zero values) to build larger seamless images. Such broad-scale georeferenced images can be used for visual interpretation, and are useful as back-ground images while overlaying other geospatial vector databases.
